Semi-continuous pilot-scale experiment, comprised of two experimental phases, was carried out. In the first phase, operational conditions of the full-scale biogas plant were reproduced at pilot-scale. In that phase, the reactor was daily fed with the mixture of cow manure,
digestate from industrial postfermentor, corn grits and ensiled corn silage, and the average methane generation
rate was 0.167 m3 CH4 per kgVS. In the second phase, corn grits and ensiled corn silage were replaced with corn
silage pretreated with T. versicolor, and the average methane generation rate increased up to 0.236 m3 per CH4 kgVS. The results of this study suggest that application of fungal-based solid-state pretreated corn silage has positive
effect on pH stability and increase the biogas productivity.

HEIGHT OF HYPERIDEALS IN NOETHERIAN KRASNER HYPERRINGSHashem Bordbar, Irina Elena Cristea, Michal Novak, 2017, original scientific article Abstract: Inspired by the classical concept of height of a prime ideal in a ring, we proposed in a precedent paper the notion of height of a prime hyperideal in a Krasner hyperring. In this note we first generalize some results concerning the height of a prime hyperideal in a Noetherian Krasner hyperring, with the intent to extend this definition to the case of a general hyperideal in a such hyperring. The main results in this note show that, in a commutative Noetherian Krasner hyperring, the height of a minimal prime hyperideal over a proper hyperideal generated by n elements is less than or equal to n, the converse of this claim being also true. Based on this result, it can be proved that the height of such a prime hyperideal is limited by the height of a corresponding quotient hyperideal.

On complementable semihypergroupsHossien Aghabozorgi, Irina Elena Cristea, Morteza Jafarpour, 2016, original scientific article Abstract: n this paper, we first introduce the notion of complementable semihypergroup, proving that the classes of simplifiable semigroups, groups, and complete hypergroups are examples of complementable semihypergroups. Then we define when two semihypergroups are disjoint and find examples of such semihypergroups. Finally, we discuss on the complementable property of $K_H$-hypergroups.
