11. Ma' NeptunPeter Purg, artistic work Abstract: After the Neptun Trilogy (2011-13) and its Re:enactment in 2014 (vimeo.com/119334124) as well as its Resiege in 2017 (https://vimeo.com/235908183), the performer returns to The ex-Neptun factory in Komiža, island of Vis (Croatia) for the sixth time altogether. Throughout 2017, the factory was used as one of the strictly closed areas on the island for shooting of the Hollywood blockbuster Mamma Mia 2. Many Komižan mothers worked in the Neptun fish-canning factory for years and decades; dozens of young women came to work in the factory from mainland, they mostly stayed, and became mothers...

13. PLATOON Kunsthalle Berlin, kot začasni eksperimentalni prostor in socialna skulptura : Eat MeatMarija Laura Potočnik, 2016, undergraduate thesis Abstract: Teoretični del diplomske naloge zajema in obravnava začasni eksperimentalni prostor PLATOON
Kunsthalle Berlin kot socialno skulpturo. Uvodno temo odprem z razlago, zakaj sem izbrala
raziskujem človeško - živalske odnose in človekovo moralno vlogo v teh odnosih ter vlečem
vzporednice med vrednotami. Inštalacija je avtobiografsko delo, intimno in subjektivno. Njen
namen je vzbuditi zavedanje in razmislek o tem, v kakšni družbi pravzaprav živimo, kakšne
posledice puščajo naša dejanja in udobje, ker oboje nam vsiljuje ignoranca industrije v svojem
brezkompromisnem boju za zaslužek. 14. Digital Video in Digital Humanities Methodology : A Case StudyAleš Vaupotič, Marco Buziol, Narvika Bovcon, 2016, published scientific conference contribution Abstract: The paper presents a digital reconstruction of the building that hosts the new headquarters of the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice as a digital humanities methodology case study. The building has been appropriated for different functions throughout history, from being a hospital for incurables to an orphanage. Recently the space was re-functioned for the studios of the Art Academy. In the project we have integrated multifaceted information about the different stages of the building's use in the medium of digital animation. Finally, the digital 3-D model was used for exhibiting contemporary art works by students of the Academy and videos by artists from the Society for Connecting Art and Science ArtNetLab. 15. "art@blackbox.edu" : Participative (performance) LecturePeter Purg, 2016, artistic performance Abstract: The question about the role of art in education, but also vice versa, will be asked along the line of some key insights, resulting from a decade of studying, experimenting with and questioning of art pedagogy, in particular within the new-media or intermedia realms. Of course such an insight cannot be straightforward, and is essentially unreliable. How can we think art, and practice art in the educational domain? How can we look inside this black box and outside of it? An intelligent view will only mediate what it sees – white on black, on the screen, online. The lecture will be delivered to participants for their participation.
