The Yugoslav Partisan Art
Gal Kirn, Vladimir Habjan, 2016, izvirni znanstveni članek

Opis: Jernej Habjan and Gal Kirn have edited a special issue of Slavica tergestina devoted to the Yugoslav Partisan art (1941-1945). All the chapters are in English, with abstracts in Russian and English as well as summaries in Slovenian. We highlight the theoretical discussion between Rastko Mocnik and Miklavz Komelj. The chapters are preceded by the introduction by Gal Kirn, and followed by reviews of new books on the Yugoslav Partisan art.
Ključne besede: partisan art, left art, political aesthetics, propaganda, liberation struggle, new Yugoslavia

Experimenting with Highest Conjunct Agreement under Left Branch Extraction
Boban Arsenijević, Franc Marušič, Jana Willer-Gold, 2020, objavljeni znanstveni prispevek na konferenci

Opis: A debate has developed in the recent theoretical and experimental linguistic literature on the status and the locus of conjunct agreement in South Slavic (SS; Marušič et al. 2007, Bošković 2009, Franks & Willer Gold 2014, Murphy & Puškar 2015; Marušič et al. 2015 and Willer Gold et al. 2016). One of the pertinent issues of the debate is the status of Highest Conjunct Agreement – agreement with the hierarchically highest conjunct (NP1) – in sentences with a preverbal subject. The question around which the debate revolves is a basic one: Is there Highest Conjunct Agreement (HCA) in Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian (BCS), and how is it blocked, or derived, respectively?
Ključne besede: syntax, agreement, conjunct agrement, left branch extraction, Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian

IDEALS OF IS-ALGEBRAS BASED ON N-STRUCTURES
Hashem Bordbar, Mohammad Mehdi Zahedi, Young Bae Jun, 2018, izvirni znanstveni članek

Opis: The notion of a left (resp., right) NI-ideal is introduced, and related properties are investigated. Characterizations of a left (resp., right) NI-ideal are considered. Translations of a left (resp., right) NI-ideal are studied. We show that the homomorphic image (preimage) of a left (resp., right) NI-ideal is a left (resp., right) NI-ideal. The notion of retrenched left (resp., right) NI-ideals is introduced, and their properties are investigated.
Ključne besede: Left (resp., right) NI-ideal, translation, closed support, retrenched left (resp., right) NI-ideal.

A Generalization of Semidetached Subalgebras in BCK∕BCI-algebras
Hashem Bordbar, Mohammad Rahim Bordbar, Young Bae Jun, 2019, izvirni znanstveni članek

Opis: Generalization of the paper [Y. B. Jun and S. Z. Song, Semidetached subalgebras in BCK∕BCI-algebras, to appear in Bulletin of the Korean Mathematical Society] is discussed. Several conditions for a semidetached structure in BCK∕BCI-algebras to be a semidetached subalgebra are provided. The concepts of (∈¯,∈¯∨qk¯)-fuzzy subalgebra, k-left (k-right) (qk,∈∨qk)-fuzzy subalgebra, (qk¯,∈¯∨qk¯)-fuzzy subalgebra and (∈¯∨qk¯,∈¯∨qk¯)-fuzzy subalgebra are introduced, and relative relations and properties are discussed.
Ključne besede: ð2, 2_qkÞ-fuzzy subalgebra, k-left (k-right) ðqk, 2_qkÞ-fuzzy subalgebra, ð 2 _ qk, 2 _ qk Þ-fuzzy subalgebra, semidetached structure, semidetached subalgebra.

Left almost polygroups
Naveed Yaqoob, Irina Elena Cristea, Muhhamad Gulistan, Shah Nawaz, 2018, izvirni znanstveni članek

Opis: In this introductory note we define the concept of left almost polygroup and provide several examples. We also discuss the quotient structure and isomorphism theorems for left almost polygroups.

ASYMMETRIES IN SUB-EXTRACTION OUT OF NP IN SLOVENIAN : A MAGNITUDE ESTIMATION STUDY
Arthur Stepanov, Manca Mušič, Penka Stateva, 2016, izvirni znanstveni članek

Opis: In this work, we aim to clarify the empirical paradigm that bears on two aspects of syntactic locality in Slovenian. First, building on previous work, we investigate how robustly Slovenian observes the syntactic locality constraint precluding constituent sub-extraction out of subject noun phrases. Second, we ask whether Slovenian allows Left Branch Extraction in interrogative and non-interrogative sentences. To elucidate both issues, we conducted a magnitude estimation study, the results of which support our previous claim that there is a subject island effect in Slovenian. Furthermore, our results suggest that Slovenian disallows Left Branch Extraction, in contrast with some other Slavic languages. We also discuss theoretical consequences of our empirical findings.
Ključne besede: syntactic island, Left Branch extraction, magnitude estimation, Slovenian
