Mourning process of family bereavement in Italian cinema : theory and practice behind the making of "EDEN" diploma film

Abstract: This work is a study of the mourning process of family bereavement during the development of Italian cinema. The theoretical and practical part are extremely interconnected: starting from emblematic Italian films regarding death, this study further develops on pointing out how Italian authors put the mourning process into image. Moreover, three Italian films of the last decade are taken into account in the analysis: we underline the main characteristics and recurring themes of these aforementioned films. This thesis considers the theory and practice behind the making of EDEN, Diploma Film. In the last chapters we underline the whole process behind this short film, including the storyline, the meaning behind it, pre-production, production, and post production.

Impact of the label on the purchasing decision process of female Chinese consumers : case, Slovenian wine label

Abstract: The packaging is often a way of product communicating with its' consumer. Nowadays there are tons of different styles and ways to label the product to attract new customers. For every market, there is a certain way of packaging and developing a brand of the products due to the difference of the culture, lifestyle and habits. Our work aimed to determine the preferences of Chinese female consumers on various styles of Slovenian wine labels. Slovenian wines are still a rare guest on the shelves of the Chinese market. Thus, this research work gives us an opportunity of finding the best way of entering the market with a product from an unknown wine-producing country for the public and establish the brand. Due to the lack of information in this particular section, we have conducted an online survey to collect more precise data. Therefore, within the questionnaire we have used 5 wine labels from different Slovenian wine cellars with completely diversified design and styles, to compare customer's preferences. With the obtained online questionnaire it can be concluded that Chinese female consumers are most attracted to the whole package of the wine design from the wine's glass bottle, to its' shape as well as certain color preferences of the wine labels.

ŽANRSKOST LITERARNEGA OPUSA JANJE VIDMAR : DIPLOMSKO DELO

Abstract: V diplomskem delu se osredotočam na analizo naslednjih literarnih del Janje Vidmar: Punce za znoret, Hiša groze, Kdo je ubil Emilijo K.?, Bučko Superga, Princeska z napako, Angie, Brez, Pink, Ameriški prijatelj, Blues za Saro, Fantje iz gline, Debeluška, Vrtiljak čudežev, Uspavanka za mladega očka, Potovanje groze in Tretja možnost. Na začetku na podlagi teorij Mirana Hladnika, Marka Juvana, Alojzije Zupan Sosič, Barbare Pregelj in Jožice Jožef Beg, predstavim pojme kanonizirana in trivialna literatura ter žanrski sinkretizem, se posvetim pojmu realizem v sodobni slovenski mladinski književnosti in nakažem smer žanrskosti v delih Janje Vidmar. Sledi predstavitev avtorice in njenega literarnega ustvarjanja ter opis pripovednih elementov (protagonist, čas/prostor, pripovedovalec, fokalizacija). V osrednjem delu analiziram besedila Janje Vidmar v povezavi z žanrskostjo in na podlagi te analize ugotovim, da gre pri njih za prepletanje različnih žanrov (žanrski sinkretizem).

Optimizacija proizvodnje elementov za papirno industrijo : Diplomsko delo

Abstract: Industrijska pridelava papirja ima velik vpliv na okolje. Poleg tega, da vpliva na porabo naravnih surovin, kot sta les in voda, pa zahteva tudi precejšen vložek energije, predvsem toplote. Zaradi tega se na področju prezračevanja in rekuperacije toplote nenehno izvajajo izboljšave, ki naj bi zagotavljale energetsko učinkovitost papirnih linij. Za doseganje celovitega energetsko-surovinskega učinka, pa je o trajnostnem razvoju, materialu in reciklaži treba razmišljati že pri snovanju in izdelavi samih elementov za proizvodnjo papirja. Tema diplomske naloge je tako vezana na opis elementov in potek izdelave sistemov za rekuperacijo toplote v papirni industriji, ki pripomorejo k boljši energetski učinkovitosti papirnih linij ter celovito analizo poteka proizvodnje, od začetka konstruiranja posameznih elementov do njihove končne izdelave in montaže. Na podlagi analize poteka proizvodnje in prisotnih problemov je treba nato izvesti optimizacijo proizvodnje, ki bi izboljšala učinkovitost toka materiala, energije in delovne sile, skrajšala čas ter povečala kvaliteto izdelave, in s tem dvignila konkurenčnost podjetju. Analize proizvodnega procesa zajete v diplomskem delu temeljijo na praktičnih primerih v podjetju TIP95 d. o. o. Večina predstavljenih optimizacij in ugotovitev na področju konstruiranja in proizvodnega procesa so se tudi aplicirali v praksi in prispevali k pozitivnim rezultatom poslovanja podjetja.

Statistical analysis of European digital strategies in times of crisis

Abstract: Preparation and communication are essential in times of crisis. I was motivated to choose this topic by recent events in the world caused by the COVID 19 virus, which has affected every sphere, from the economy to human relations. However, tough times can be an opportunity to set brands apart from their competition. It is important, though, that they use marketing as a tool to create empathy, as this is the principle of reciprocity. Only in this way they can gain their trust, keep them loyal to the brand and be connected to it. The thesis describes the importance of a well and properly prepared digital strategy that every company should have if a crisis were to occur again.

Jezikovne zadrege igralcev, knjižničarjev, novinarjev, pravnikov, učiteljev in zdravnikov

Abstract: Diplomsko delo obravnava jezikovne zadrege jezikovnih uporabnikov, ki opravljajo različne poklice. Izbrali smo šest poklicev iz skupine, imenovane »Strokovnjaki/strokovnjakinje«, ki jih navaja Standardna klasifikacija poklicev (SKP), in sicer (1) igralec/igralka (2) knjižničar/knjižničarka, (3) novinar/novinarka, (4) pravnik/pravnica, (5) učitelj/učiteljica, (6) zdravnik/zdravnica. V teoretičnem delu orišemo pojem jezikovna zadrega, predstavimo jezikovne svetovalnice, kamor ljudje zastavljajo vprašanja o jeziku, v zadnjih letih je dejavnost v veliki meri prisotna na spletu (prim. Jezikovna svetovalnica ZRC SAZU). Predstavimo namen jezikovnih svetovalnic, razloge za zastavljanje vprašanj in opišemo problem poklicne specializacije uporabnikov, ki lahko vpliva na nabor jezikovnih zadreg. V povezavi s to problematiko so izpostavljeni terminološki slovarji. V empiričnem delu predstavimo raziskovalni problem, ki odpira vprašanje, kako poklicna specializacija vpliva na jezikovne zadrege jezikovnih uporabnikov in kakšne jezikovne zadrege uporabniki imajo. V nadaljevanju opišemo cilje, hipoteze in metodologijo raziskave. Z vodenimi pogovori z jezikovnimi uporabniki, ki opravljajo naštete poklice, se je izoblikoval nabor jezikovnih zadreg. Diplomsko delo analizira rezultate raziskave: poklicna specializacija vpliva na nabor jezikovnih zadreg, nabor sestavljajo zadrege z različnih ravnin jezika, nanj pa vpliva tudi prevladujoči način komuniciranja v poklicu.

ASSESSMENT OF THE FEASIBILITY OF A MOBILE APP AIMED FOR THE PROMOTION OF A COMPANY

Abstract: For a newly established company, one of the most important issues is to promote its own products and/or services. How to survive among many competitors is a problem, which is worthy of attention. With the popularity of mobile devices, the networks, information and digital society has been established, where global e-commerce has been improved and developed. In this society, for a new company it is highly desirable to use e-commerce promotion methods, which include making a mobile application. However, there is still an open question whether a mobile app can be used as an efficient e-commerce promotion method. In this thesis first an app has been developed for connecting the users and suppliers of musical instruments. All the users are able to share their homemade videos while playing musical instruments and exchange thoughts with all the users. At the same time, all the musical instruments related products can be merchandized between the users and merchant. Then we addressed two issues after the app has been tested: 1. For a startup, is it worth developing a product-related app? 2. In the process of using the app, what kind of attitude is the user taking on the internal product advertisement? An experiment has been set up in which 30 participants were randomly selected. Their behavior has been monitored for one month and the obtained data have been analyzed. The main result of the analysis is that 70% of the participants believe that developing an app brings certain benefit to the company. The remaining 30% of the participants think that they would love to continue to use the app after the experiment. At the same time, they have a certain interest in product advertising in the app.

Priprava podlage za oblikovanje strategije trženja v izbranem podjetju

Abstract: Trženje je strateška funkcija v podjetju, ki vse ostale poslovne funkcije povezuje s trgom in je soodgovorna za donosnost poslovanja. Namen podlage za oblikovanje strategije trženja je priprava osnove za učinkovito trženjsko strategijo, ki temelji na ključnih razlikovalnih prednostih podjetja in s pomočjo katere bo podjetje Parcom d.o.o. Nova Gorica doseglo zastavljene dolgoročne poslovne in trženjske cilje. Glede na pričakovanja ciljnih skupin kupcev, značilnosti trga ter ob upoštevanju ponudbe glavnih konkurentov smo v diplomski nalogi s pomočjo vodstva podjetja identificirali edinstveno prednost podjetja ali tako imenovano veliko obljubo podjetja, na kateri sloni tudi vizija prihodnjega razvoja. Z namenom dobro analizirati trenutno trženjsko stanje podjetja smo naredili natančen pregled dosedanjih trženjskih aktivnosti na področju prodaje in trženja; pri tem smo poudarek namenili varnostnim rešitvam ter spletni trgovini, kjer podjetje vidi priložnost za uspeh. Predstavili smo tudi rezultate ankete, s katerimi smo skušali analizirati trženjske aktivnosti in konkurenčne prednosti konkurenčnih podjetij. Na podlagi pregleda dosedanjih trženjskih aktivnosti ter analize konkurence smo opredelili priporočila za prihodnje kratkoročne in dolgoročne trženjske ukrepe, ki jih bo podjetje moralo izvesti. Velik poudarek smo namenili prodaji po spletu, ki za podjetje predstavlja novost v zasledovanju trenda digitalizacije odnosov s kupci in večanja pomembnosti spletne prodaje.

Prenova montažnega procesa v podjetju Agromehanika Kranj

Abstract: Podjetje Agromehanika v celoti prenavlja poslovne procese, v diplomskem delu pa smo se v okviru prenove proizvodnih procesov omejili na prenovo montažnega procesa. Podjetje se občasno srečuje s problemom predolgih dobavnih rokov, zato smo si zastavili ambiciozen cilj: skrajšati čas montaže za 30 %. Proučili smo teoretična dognanja, nato pa naredili analizo obstoječega stanja: izmerili in narisali velikost montažne delavnice, popisali potrebno opremo ter ugotovili razpoložljivo število montažnih delavcev pri obstoječem načinu montaže. Pridobili smo kosovnico za izbrani izdelek, potem pa merili čase posameznih operacij ter narisali in opisali zaporedje izvajanja le-teh. Sledilo je načrtovanje prenove montažnega procesa za izbrani proizvod. Projekt prenove montažnega procesa smo vodili s precedenčnim diagramom. Za oskrbo z vijačnim materialom smo uvedli sistem KANBAN. Ločili smo logistično in montažno funkcijo. Odločili smo se za ravno linijsko postavitev in uvedli izboljšave v procesu montaže. Rezultat prenove montažnega procesa za izbrani proizvod je bil znižanje časa montaže za 41,57 % v pilotni liniji brez dodatnih investicij in 64,25 % v predvideni liniji z dodatnimi investicijami. Prihranek časa pri delu montažnih delavcev smo ovrednotili tudi finančno. Prenova montažnega procesa podjetju zagotavlja končne proizvode, razpoložljive v krajšem času kot doslej. S tem je skrajšan dobavni rok, ki je kupcem ključnega pomena v času, ko pridobijo državne subvencije za razvoj kmetijstva, ki jih morajo črpati v predvidenem roku. Zato ima prenova montažnega procesa za podjetje multiplikativen pozitiven učinek, s katerim obdrži obstoječe stranke, s krajšimi dobavnimi časi pa morda pridobi tudi nove.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND THE NARRATIVE : How stories are told through the photographic medium

Abstract: Some of the earliest pieces of evidence in art history show how people told stories with pictures and, throughout the centuries, this habit developed with the introduction of new techniques, themes, and tools. Given the value of authenticity that has often been ascribed to photography since its invention, this medium had to overcome criticism before its value as fine art was recognised. This diploma thesis analyses in which ways photography is capable to carry narratives. It also analyses the roles that the viewer, the photographer, and the image itself play in this process. To do so, this work examines notable theories on the topic, the intentions behind the photographers’ creative process, and the visual components of images. By focusing both on ideas introduced by scholars and on photographic works – including my diploma project Dune Mosse – the thesis underlines the importance that social and cultural contexts have in the narration of a story.
