Abstract:V diplomskem delu je prikazana izrecna normativnost v jezikovnih priročnikih, ki so nastali v drugi polovici dvajsetega stoletja, torej Slovenski pravopis 1950, Slovenski pravopis 1962, Slovar slovenskega knjižnega jezika 1970–1991, Slovenski pravopis 2001 in prenovljena izdaja Slovarja slovenskega knjižnega jezika iz leta 2014.

Title:Normativity in Slovenian dictionaries in the second half of the twentieth century
Abstract:The thesis presents the explicit normativity in linguistic manuals originating in the second half of the twentieth century, i.e. Slovene Orthography (1950), Slovene Orthography (1962), Dictionary of the Standard Slovenian Language (1970–1991), Slovene Orthography (2001) and the revised edition of the Dictionary of the Standard Slovenian Language from 2014. The main objective is to compare these dictionaries in terms of normatively marked compositions; I compared normative marks, normative guidelines, and restrictive labels, and attempted to determine whether the conceptualisation of normativity in the period between 1950–2014 was changing. By focusing on the examination of the dictionary letter D, I compared dictionary entries in different editions of a particular the same dictionary, and found that changes occurred in the graphical labelling of normative marks; that many of the once forbidden linguistic elements became neutral; that, in some cases, discrepancies in normative treatments of the same phrases and prepositions occurred. I also presented normative guidelines, focusing particularly on their function, in order to uncover any deviations between older and newer dictionaries.
