3. Statistical analysis of European digital strategies in times of crisisŠaza Babić, 2020, undergraduate thesis Abstract: Preparation and communication are essential in times of crisis. I was motivated to choose this topic by recent events in the world caused by the COVID 19 virus, which has affected every sphere, from the economy to human relations. However, tough times can be an opportunity to set brands apart from their competition. It is important, though, that they use marketing as a tool to create empathy, as this is the principle of reciprocity. Only in this way they can gain their trust, keep them loyal to the brand and be connected to it.
The thesis describes the importance of a well and properly prepared digital strategy that every company should have if a crisis were to occur again. Found in: ključnih besedah Keywords: Crisis, communication, COVID 19, strategy. Published: 18.11.2020; Views: 2331; Downloads: 126

8. Machine learning models for government to predict COVID-19 outbreakPoonam Chaudhary, Saibal K. Pal, Rajan Gupta, Gaurav Pandey, 2020, original scientific article Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has become a major threat to the whole world. Analysis of this disease requires major attention by the government in all countries to take necessary steps in reducing the effect of this global pandemic. In this study, outbreak of this disease has been analysed and trained for Indian region till 10th May, 2020, and testing has been done for the number of cases for the next three weeks. Machine learning models such as SEIR model and Regression model have been used for predictions based on the data collected from the official portal of the Government of India in the time period of 30th January, 2020, to 10th May, 2020. The performance of the models was evaluated using RMSLE and achieved 1.52 for SEIR model and 1.75 for the regression model. The RMSLE error rate between SEIR model and Regression model was found to be 2.01. Also, the value of R0, which is the spread of the disease, was calculated to be 2.84. Expected cases are predicted around 175K--200K in the three-week time period of test data, which is very close to the actual numbers. This study will help the government and doctors in preparing their plans for the future. 9. Analysis of COVID-19 tracking tool in india: case study of aarogya setu mobile applicationVaishnavi Verma, Prashi Goyal, Srishti Wadhera, Rajan Gupta, Manan Bedi, 2020, original scientific article Abstract: COVID-19 tracking tools or contact-tracing apps are getting developed at a rapid pace by different governments in their respective countries. This study explores one such tool called Aarogya Setu, developed by the Government of India. It is a mobile application developed under the Health Ministry, as a part of the E-Governance initiative, to track and sensitize the citizens of India in a joint battle against COVID-19 spread. The study aims to understand various useful features of this tool and to present different concepts of data science applied within the application along with its importance in managing the ongoing pandemic. The App uses Bluetooth and GPS technologies to alert a user when they are nearby a COVID-19 infected person. The application uses various Data Science concepts such as Classification, Association Rule Mining, and Clustering to analyze COVID-19 spread in India. The study also shows potential upgradations in the application, which includes usage of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision to detect COVID-19 patients. The study would be useful for mobile technology professionals, data science professionals, medical practitioners, health-related frontline workers, public administrators, and government officials. 10. Technology applications for health safety decision making under COVID-19 pandemic managementRajan Gupta, Saibal K. Pal, Aayush Khattar, King Baliyan, 2020, published scientific conference contribution Abstract: A lot of new technological applications are emerging to combat the deadly novel coronavirus. This research study gives an overview of different applications that are developed by Government Institutions, Private Firms, and Individual Citizens across the world. The applications are reviewed based on their widespread use, effectiveness, availability to the broader audience, cost to implement it, concerns regarding the privacy and information collected by these apps and systems. The major eight areas of technology applications covered in this study are Contact Tracing, Social Distancing & Mask Detection, Live-feeds based Dashboards, Information Searching, Big Data and Robotics, Web-based Disease Surveillance Tools, Patient-level Information, Doctor-Patient interaction, and Informatory Chatbots. More than 100 apps were collected for this research survey to conclude the
different categories in which technology is being used for decision making. This study will be useful for various health
administrators, professionals, researchers, and academicians. Found in: ključnih besedah Keywords: COVID-19, coronavirus, technology applications, contact tracing, social distancing, chatbots, data lakes Published: 02.04.2021; Views: 1408; Downloads: 69
