1. Effect of shell thickness on the exchange bias blocking temperature and coercivity in Co-CoO core-shell nanoparticlesSenoy Thomas, K. Reethu, Thanveer Thajudheen, M. T. Z. Myint, S. H. Al-Harthi, 2017, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: The exchange bias blocking temperature distribution of naturally oxidized Co-CoO core-shell nanoparticles exhibits two distinct signatures. These are associated with the existence of two magnetic entities which are responsible for the temperature dependence of an exchange bias field. One is from the CoO grains which undergo thermally activated magnetization reversal. The other is from the disordered spins at the Co-CoO interface which exhibits spin-glass-like behavior. We investigated the oxide shell thickness dependence of the exchange bias effect. For particles with a 3 nm thick CoO shell, the predominant contribution to the temperature dependence of exchange bias is the interfacial spin-glass layer. On increasing the shell thickness to 4 nm, the contribution from the spin-glass layer decreases, while upholding the antiferromagnetic grain contribution. For samples with a 4 nm CoO shell, the exchange bias training was minimal. On the other hand, 3 nm samples exhibited both the training effect and a peak in coercivity at an intermediate set temperature Ta. This is explained using a magnetic core-shell model including disordered spins at the interface. 2. Advantages and disadvantages of Serbian market for exporting “Vinag 1847” winesIvana Milivojević, 2023, diplomsko delo Opis: This study investigates the main advantages and disadvantages of the Serbian market as a potential market for the import of Slovenian wines, more specifically, the wines from the wine cellar “Vinag 1847”. Structured interviews were conducted with four participants from different Serbian wine sectors regarding the current wine trends and how the Slovenian wines are presented on the market. Furthermore, the quantitative analysis was performed during the Belgrade Wine Salon in the form of a questionnaire, and it was answered by 60 randomly picked visitors who tasted the wines at the “Vinag 1847” exhibition table. They answered the questions about their personal buying behaviour and evaluated the selected “Vinag 1847” wine offer which was presented at the wine salon. The participants of the quantitative and qualitative analysis have pointed out that Serbian market is expanding, and its wine culture has been evolving, together with the new generations, in new ways. The main advantages are at the same time also the disadvantages of the market which is still in the process of manifestation. With a wide local and regional wine offer and the customer base whose interest in the new wines both from Serbia and abroad has been increasing, Serbia is evaluated as the challenging country for the wine export industry. 4. Removal of copper from aqueous solutions with zeolites and possible treatment of exhaust materialsNataša Zabukovec Logar, Iztok Arčon, Janez Kovač, Margarita Popova, 2021, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: The mechanism of Cu2+ loading into commercially available natural HEU-type and synthetic LTA-type zeolites for their
possible use in environmental processes, such as water and air treatment applications, was studied. Elemental analysis,
SEM/EDXS, XRD, XAS and XPS analyses revealed 4-fold coordination of Cu2+ cations with oxygen atoms in the pores, a
predominant location of copper atoms on the surface of crystallites and retained crystallinity of zeolites throughout the
processes. The post-treatment of Cu2+-loaded samples with HCl and/or NaCl solutions confirmed the predominantly
reversible sorption of copper on zeolites from aqueous solutions by ion-exchange mechanism and, therefore, excellent
regeneration possibilities for both types of zeolites. Furthermore, with the calcination of exhaust metal-loaded zeolites,
