1. Promoting the use of open educational resources to improve teaching and learning of science subjects in secondary schools in Tanzania : master's thesisLucian Vumilia Ngeze, 2024, magistrsko delo Opis: A number of challenges have hindered the integration of Open Educational Resources (OERs) in schools from developing countries. The rate of adoption of OERs in teaching and learning in schools in Tanzania is low. This research focused on capacity of secondary school science teachers on creating and adapting open educational resources to improve the teaching and learning of science subjects. The research used a Design-based Research methodology to achieve research objectives.
Results show that challenges such as lack of ICT devices, poor Internet connection, network accessibility issues, unstable power supply and large class sizes hindered the integration of OER in the teaching of science subjects. As teachers created OERs, they stated factors such as levels of the learners, developing engaging content, simple and self-explanatory content, alignment with learning objectives and relevancy of OER as initial considerations they considered when creating OERs. It was important to investigate the change in teachers’ attitude towards the use of OER in teaching science subjects OER creation ability, OER in teaching, teaching improvements, increased teaching resources, and application of skills.
It was concluded that regular teacher professional development programmes must be set to support school teachers in using OERs to improve teaching and learning and in creating OER for teaching. Engaging with relevant government bodies is encouraged to ensure that more teachers are involved in such developed online courses. 6. Progressive pedagogies for innovation among art, science and technology : the case of mastmodule.euPeter Purg, N. Castillo-Rutz, Sergi Bermúdez i Badia, C. Csíkszentmihályi, Jurij V. Krpan, F. Hedeer, D. L. Sousa, Klemen Širok, 2022, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: Even if aiming at technical innovation, an interdisciplinary curriculum can and should include social
values. The Master Module in Art, Science and Technology project attempted to do so by developing
the innovation catalyst profile, a graduate who critically reflects on the creation process by combining
art thinking and design thinking. Within a pilot of the MAST module students from three universities
responded to timely challenges such as ‘The Future of Work’ and ‘Solidarity,’ through which the project
staff tested progressive pedagogical solutions like cross-disciplinary mentoring and situated knowledge
sharing. Introducing European social values in both artistic and technical education, the article presents
models, experiments and inspirations discussed against discursive analysis and course evaluation data.
In order to support not only inclusive but also sustainable teaching and learning approaches, novel
methods and tools may become daringly innovative as well as critical of both their pedagogical and
the wider social setting. Ključne besede: art thinking, curriculum design, social values, innovation catalyst, design thinking Objavljeno v RUNG: 27.06.2022; Ogledov: 3240; Prenosov: 30

9. Converting apprehensive customers to willing customers : building trust in online shopping arenaSaibal K. Pal, 2017, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: This study focuses on knowing about the factors that can affect the trust levels of the consumers involved in online shopping. Trust has been identified as a prominent factor that ultimately leads to the transformation of the apprehensive customers into willing customers. The role of website design features and portal affiliation is tested regarding their impact in affecting the trusting beliefs of the customers. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was put to use to do the statistical testing on the data collected through students of tier III city of India. The results
showed that the website design features have an important role to play in affecting the trusting beliefs of the people whereas portal affiliation didn’t have much of a role. The study
implies that the website managers must focus on their design features if they want to gain the trust of their customers. The portal affiliation wouldn’t be fruitful in the case of a student
at least. Better shoppers amongst students must be attracted towards portals through innovative designs and features.
