21. The Resiege of NeptunPeter Purg, 2017, artistic work Abstract: After the Neptun Trilogy (2011-13) and its Re:enactment in 2014 (vimeo.com/119334124), the performer returns to the site -- now taken over by yet another corporation: The ex-Neptun factory in Komiža, island of Vis (Croatia) was being used as one of the strictly closed areas on the island for shooting of the Hollywood blockbuster Mamma Mia 2. Since the production of part one left a small idyllic Greek island had bereft of peace and well-being, the islanders accepted it with much ambivalence. Thus Neptun's pier had to be sieged again, even if only at its floating tip, the plastic pontoon (02:25 - 02:45 ). 26. "art@blackbox.edu" : Participative (performance) LecturePeter Purg, 2016, artistic performance Abstract: The question about the role of art in education, but also vice versa, will be asked along the line of some key insights, resulting from a decade of studying, experimenting with and questioning of art pedagogy, in particular within the new-media or intermedia realms. Of course such an insight cannot be straightforward, and is essentially unreliable. How can we think art, and practice art in the educational domain? How can we look inside this black box and outside of it? An intelligent view will only mediate what it sees – white on black, on the screen, online. The lecture will be delivered to participants for their participation. 27. eastweetswest : :::::::: a performance process reflecting the state of unityPeter Purg, 2016, artistic work Abstract: "After more than a quarter century thoughts and actions were shared, reflecting the state of unity. Keywords: " The Twitter account of grüntaler9 invited everyone to tweet/comment upon the topic of East & West. The performer arranged selected feeds, printed out on paper and cut to tile size onto the Black & White floor tiles of the space.
Performative (re)actions emerged by performer and participants, online and on site, critical or speculative, mythical or manipulative... Live feeds were used primarily, recycling material was an option. Text was used primarily, pictures are an option.
After more than a quarter century thoughts and actions were shared, reflecting the state of unity."
Live Performance 12 – 14h at grüntaler9, berlin, Germany

28. Highly Sensitive Determination of Pyoverdine in Cloud Water by HPLC-Thermal Lens SpectrometryLeja Goljat, Mitja Martelanc, Virginie Vinatier, Anne-Marie Delort, Mladen Franko, 2016, published scientific conference contribution abstract Abstract: New method for pyoverdine and Fe(III)-pyoverdine detection was developed. Two isomers of pyoverdine and two isomers of Fe(III)-pyoverdine were separated isocraticaly on reversed-phase (RP)-C18 chromatograhic column and detected by DAD, FLD and TLS. HPLC-TLS method enables separation and determination of pyoverdine and Fe(III)-pyoverdine in a single run and excels in superior sensitivities when compared to conventional HPLC-DAD system. Keywords: Pyoverdine, Fe(III)-pyoverdine, cloud water, high-performance liquid chromatography, thermal lens spectrometry Published in RUNG: 04.07.2016; Views: 5482; Downloads: 0 |
