1. Crystallizing covalent organic frameworks from metal organic framework through chemical induced-phase engineeringAbdul Khayum Mohammed, Safa Gaber, Jesus Raya, Tina Škorjanc, Nada Elmerhi, Sasi Stephen, Pilar Pena-Sánchez, Felipe Gándara, Steven Hinder, Mark A. Baker, Kyriaki Polychronopoulou, Dinesh Shetty, 2023, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: The ordered porous frameworks like MOFs and COFs are generally constructed using the monomers through distinctive metal-coordinated and covalent linkages. Meanwhile, the inter-structural transition between each class of these porous materials is an under-explored research area. However, such altered frameworks are expected to have exciting features compared to their pristine versions. Herein, we have demonstrated a chemical-induction phase-engineering strategy to transform a two dimensional conjugated Cu-based SA-MOF (Cu-Tp) into 2D-COFs (Cu-TpCOFs). The structural phase transition offered in-situ pore size engineering from 1.1 nm to 1.5–2.0 nm. Moreover, the Cu-TpCOFs showed uniform and low percentage-doped (~ 1–1.5%) metal distribution and improved crystallinity, porosity, and stability compared to the parent Cu-Tp MOF. The construction of a framework from another framework with new linkages opens interesting opportunities for phase-engineering. 2. Update of the Offline Framework for AugerPrimeL. Nellen, Andrej Filipčič, Jon Paul Lundquist, Samo Stanič, Serguei Vorobiov, Danilo Zavrtanik, Marko Zavrtanik, Lukas Zehrer, 2022, objavljeni znanstveni prispevek na konferenci Opis: Work on the Offline Framework for the Pierre Auger Observatory was
started in 2003 to create a universal framework for event
reconstruction and simulation. The development and installation of
the AugerPrime upgrade of the Pierre Auger Observatory require an
update of the Offline Framework to handle the additional detector
components and the upgraded Surface Detector Electronics.
The design of the Offline Framework proved to be sufficiently
flexible to accommodate the changes needed to be able to handle the
AugerPrime detector. This flexibility has been a goal since the
development of the code started. The framework separates data
structures from processing modules. The detector components map
directly onto data structures. It was straightforward to update or
add processing modules to handle the additional information from
the new detectors.
We will discuss the general structure of the Offline Framework,
explaining the design decisions that provided its flexibility and
point out the few of the features of the original design that
required deeper changes, which could have been avoided in
hindsight. Given the disruptive nature of the AugerPrime upgrade,
the developers decided that the update for AugerPrime was the moment
to change also the language standard for the implementation and move
to the latest version of C++, to break strict backward compatibility
eliminating deprecated interfaces, and to modernize the development
infrastructure. We will discuss the changes that were made to the
structure in general and the modules that were added to the
framework to handle the new detector components. 4. Dynamic route map generation scheme for mobiles : M-governance application framework for tourism & travel in Delhi, IndiaRajan Gupta, Sunil K. Muttoo, Saibal K. Pal, 2016, objavljeni znanstveni prispevek na konferenci Opis: Easiness of public & tourist's travel within a city is an important task for central and State Government. They have to access a combination of public transport options like metros, trams, buses and private options like cabs services and hired vehicles. Delhi, being the capital city of India, enjoys the usage of public transport by millions of travelers. Currently all route information on mobile applications (be it public or private) are static in nature which does not recommend any route to follow. This paper proposes such an application where travelling gets easier based on real time route map generation for using public transport like Bus and Metro services. The client-server based 3-tier architecture has been used for the mobile application designing. The application scores high on ease of travelling and customization of the routes through recommendations as compared to static application. 5. Proposed framework for information systems security for e-governance in developing nations : assessment and way ahead for key componentsRajan Gupta, Sunil K. Muttoo, Saibal K. Pal, 2017, objavljeni znanstveni prispevek na konferenci Opis: E-Governance is rising rapidly in various parts of the world. And with rising digitization of the resources, the threats to the infrastructure and digital data is also rising within the government departments. For developed nations, the security parameters and optimization process is well placed but for developing nations like India, the security parameter is yet to be addressed strongly. This study proposes a framework for security assessment amongst E-Governance departments based on Information System principles. The major areas of security to be covered up are towards Hardware, Network, Software, Server, & Data security, Physical Environment Security, and various policies for security of Information Systems at organizational level. 6. Cyber security assessment education for e-governance systemsRajan Gupta, Saibal K. Pal, Sunil K. Muttoo, 2020, samostojni znanstveni sestavek ali poglavje v monografski publikaciji Opis: Electronic Governance is being rapidly adopted across the world for providing seamless services to citizens. With rising digitization of information resources, the threats to the infrastructure and digital data are also growing. For developed nations, the security parameters and optimization processes are well tested and placed, but for developing nations these are yet to be addressed strongly. There is also a need for imparting awareness and educating personnel involved in the development and operations of E-Governance Systems.
This study proposes a framework for security assessment amongst the departments of E-Governance, based on Information Systems principles. The major areas of security covered in the framework are related to the Hardware, Network, Software, Server & Data security, Physical Environment Security, and various policies for security of Information Systems at the organizational level. The suggestive framework has also been tested for an organization in India. It was found that, given the functionality & magnitude of the organization, the assessment framework was able to analyze the strength and weakness of an organization in an exhaustive manner. The coverage of technological and organizational measure was found to be 69% and 53% respectively and the organization was placed in top two zones of the proposed grid. This study will be useful for security assessment of various organizations operating under E-Governance. 10. ORGANIZATION OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT IN AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY IN THE FIELD OF RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENTSanja Ćorda, 2020, magistrsko delo Opis: The automotive industry is facing new crises due to market shifting towards electric vehicles. In order to prevail in the market, global manufacturing companies need to be consistent in providing innovative products and services. If market is changing fast, companies need to make changes with the same velocity. The companies should focus on modifying their work processes and tools which are already outdated and implement new ones which will make their business more efficient. If a company is developing innovative products where work processes are causing big overheads, the company cannot be successful. Furthermore, a hindering circumstance for multinational companies is lack of team interaction and language barriers what can lead to inefficient and expensive projects. This case study analyzes and presents the current organization of work activities and the roles within two main project management processes in one company: Product Development Process and Product Pre-development Process. Based on the project management’s professional literature, examples of best practices, semi-structured interviews with project team members, this thesis will analyze current waterfall organization and suggest an organization model with the utilization of agile SCRUM framework which could increase the effectiveness of the project management organization.
