Title:Količinsko in kakovostno ovrednotenje vodnih virov v razpoklinskem in kraškem vodonosniku na območju občine Postojna

Abstract:Glavni vir pitne vode na območju občin Postojna in Pivka je kraški vodni vir Malenščica. Izdatnost vodnega vira je dovolj velika, da zagotavlja zadostno količino vode tudi ob nizkem vodostaju, zaradi velikega prispevnega zaledja pa je kakovost vode stalno ogrožena. Magistrska naloga opisuje izvire na območju razpoklinskega vodonosnika Planinske gore in kraški izvir Korentan, ki predstavljajo možne rezervne vodne vire. V nalogi smo te vodne vire podrobneje opisali, proučili smo geološke in hidrogeološke značilnosti obravnavanega območja in izdelali litološko ter hidrogeološko karto, opredelili dejanske in potencialne vire onesnaženja. Obstoječe podatke o fizikalno kemijskih in mikrobioloških lastnostih izvirov smo dopolnili z občasnim vzorčenjem in analizami teh parametrov v obdobju od aprila 2016 do januarja 2018. Na osnovi primerjave rezultatov analiz smo sklepali na značilnosti vodonosnikov v zaledju izvirov, primerjava s Pravilnikom o pitni vodi pa je omogočila tudi oceno njihove kakovosti. Ocenili smo razpoložljive količine podzemne vode z izračunom količine infiltriranih padavin na območju vodonosnikov in oceno specifičnega odtoka z območja napajanja vodonosnika. Izsledke smo povezali v oceno primernosti obeh območij kot rezervnega vodnega vira glede na kakovostno in količinsko stanje. Povzamemo lahko, da vodni vir Korentan v času srednjega odtoka količinsko zadostuje za uporabo, v času nizkega odtoka pa je njegova kapaciteta premajhna. Vodonosnik Planinske gore pa ima dovolj vode tudi ob minimalnem vodostaju in bi ob ustrezni tehnični rešitvi lahko pokril potrebe po pitni vodi na tem območju. Surova voda obeh vodnih virov je glede na mikrobiološke raziskave neprimerna za distribucijo, saj je bakteriološko oporečna. S primerno tehnologijo čiščenja pa bi bila primerna za uporabo.

Title:Quantitative and qualitative evaluation of water resources in the fractured and karstic aquifer in the area of the Postojna municipality
Abstract:The main source of drinking water in municipality of Postojna and Pivka is the karst water source Malenščica. The water source is big enough to provide a sufficient amount of water. Due to a large extent of the recharge area of the spring and its high vulnerability to various pollution sources, the water quality is under a constant threat. The master thesis describes the sources in the area of the fissured aquifer of the Planinska gora and the karst spring Korentan, which represent possible reserve water resources. We defined the basic hydrogeological structure of the area and characteristics of the springs. We have described these water sources in more detail, we examined the geological and hydrogeological characteristics of the area and made a litho logical and hydrogeological map, while identifying the actual and potential sources of pollution. We compared the existing data of the physicochemical and microbiological properties of springs, this data we supplemented by periodic sampling and analysis of these parameters in the period from April 2016 to January 2018. We compared the results of the analyses with the Rules on Drinking Water. Based on data we concluded about the aquifer characteristics. We assessed available quantities groundwater with an estimated amount of infiltrated rainfall in the aquifer area and an estimated the specific outflow from the aquifer supply area. We compared the results to assess the suitability of two areas as a reserve water source in terms of quality and quantity. It can be summarized that the Korentan water source during the medium run is sufficient for use, while in low-run time its capacity is too small. The water resources of fissured aquifer of the Planinska gora have enough water both at the mean annual flow and at the minimum flow and thus suffice for water supply in this area. The raw water of water resources is unsuitable for distribution because of microbiological incompatibility. With appropriate cleaning technology, it would be suitable for use.
