Title:Vpliv procesnih parametrov na kakovost drsnega obroča : magistrsko delo

Abstract:Vsem proizvodnim procesom je skupno to, da vključujejo različne procesne parametre, ki pomembno vplivajo na končen rezultat postopka izdelave produkta. S procesnimi parametri izdelku izboljšamo lastnosti, podaljšamo dobo trajanja in povečamo funkcionalnost. Po drugi strani pa nepravilno izbrani procesni parametri lahko privedejo do precejšnjih težav, tako pri izdelku samem, kakor v smislu proizvodne učinkovitosti. V primeru drsnih obročev, elektro-mehanskih elementov, ki zagotavljajo učinkovit prenos električne energije ali drugih signalov iz stacionarnega na rotirajoči se del sistema, glavni problem pri izdelavi s postopkom injekcijskega brizganja termo plastnega polimera predstavlja prisotnost zračnih rež med posameznimi elementi zabrizganega drsnega obroča. Predstavljena magistrska naloga se tako osredotoča na opis procesa injekcijskega brizganja drsnih obročev ter s tem povezane problematike pojavljanja zračne reže. V aplikativnem delu je predstavljena analiza napak, korektivni ukrepi za njihovo odpravo ter uspešnosti uvajanja posameznih korektivnih ukrepov pri zmanjšanju zračne reže. Na podlagi eksperimentalno podprte večfazne metodološke analize preizkusnih serij je bilo ugotovljeno, da ima največji doprinos k izboljšanju obrizgavanja elementov in zmanjšanju pojava zračne reže predgretje elementov. Predgretje pa je potrebno kombinirati tudi z ustrezno prilagojenimi parametri procesa brizganja, ki vključujejo ustrezno visoko temperaturo taline, dovolj visok nadtlak in časovno usklajenost delovanja nadtlaka.

Title:Impact of process parameters on the slip ring quality
Abstract:Every production process contains a set of parameters, which have a significant role in the process outcome. By changing the parameters we can either greatly improve product’s properties, increase product lifetime or improve its functionality, or on the other hand, we can cause product nonconformities or decrease process efficiency. Slip ring, an electro-mechanical device, used to transfer electrical energy or signals from a stationary to a rotating part of the system, can be produced using an injection molding process, where electrical terminals are over molded with polymer material. In overmolding process, one of the major defects caused after production, is the delamination of different materials in the product. Issues concerning such phenomenon are described in this master’s thesis. The experimental part of the thesis contains defect analysis corrective measure for process improvement and describes efficiency of different process parameter changes in order to improve the end product. Based on experimentally based analysis, it was determined that preheating the inserts before overmolding has the greatest effect in preventing the delamination of materials. Preheating has the greatest effect, if combined with adequately adjusted injection molding parameters, such as sufficient melt temperature and correct combination of holding pressure value and its duration.
