Abstract:While we are asking why people are working, at the same time we are asking for goals that motivate people to work, to use their forces, to make physical and psychical effort. The fact why people are working is often explained very simple: the human being is working to provide money and other sources for living, for himself and for them who are dependent on him. Logical answer could be that people are working more if they have more possibilities to get money. But in real life that kind of logic can not survive. Some people believe that human beings are working to put themselves forward. Experience learns us that they are in minority, on the contrary, there are more people who take pains and never get recognition. But we are still asking ourselves, what stimulates all that diligent people to work. Maybe that is the question of salary? A lot of people on the other working positions could earn more money, but thez are remaining just where they are. From that fact it follows that there are a lot of causes and reasons that people are working, but the list of motives culd never be ended. The experts on the field of working motivation made the conclusion that neither one human activity is stimulated only by one fact, but with many, mostly complicated and connected matters, known and unknown.
