Abstract:Diplomsko delo analizira elemente hiperrealnega v filmskem opusu Larsa von Trierja, začetnika gibanja Dogma 95. Mlad postmoderni pojem hiperrealnosti poskuša preko tega diplomskega dela spodbuditi razmislek o napredku filma, družbe in tehnologije.

Title:Lars von Trier and the Hyperreal in Film
Abstract:This analisis of hiperreal elements in Lars von Triers works is aiming towards a bigger reflection on this young postmodernist concept in film, society and technology. The concept was first coined by a french sociologist Jean Baudrillard and Umberto Eco, both in the late 20th century. They explored the meaning of fake functions, places and even lives such as for example believing in Santa Claus. The works of Lars von Trier are in this case artisticly and concept-wise appropriate because of the way the characters and the storyline is presented. The practical part of this diploma work is an analysis of a short movie Live in a Megabit and a description of different phases of filming and post-production. The concept was first coined by a french sociologist Jean Baudrillard and Umberto Eco, both in the late 20th century. They explored the meaning of fake functions, places and even
