Title:Pregled in ocena državnega lastništva v slovenskem pristanišču

Abstract:Slovensko pristanišče Luka Koper je tema, o kateri je bilo v zadnjih letih veliko povedanega in slišanega s strani različnih medijev, predstavnikov oblasti ter sindikatov. Istočasno je to tematika, ki je obravnavana v različnih strokovnih in znanstvenih člankih. Gre za podjetje, ki s svojim delovanjem močno vpliva na transportno logistični sektor Slovenije. Poslovanje Luke Koper je pomembno za večje število deležnikov, kot so: druga državna podjetja, npr. Slovenske železnice, različni uvozniki in izvozniki, prevozniki, špedicije, agencije, kontrolne hiše in ostale panoge, ki so kakorkoli vezane na pretovor blaga. Ker je Luka Koper edino slovensko trgovsko pristanišče, lahko govorimo o podjetju državnega pomena, istočasno pa je to eden večjih zaposlovalcev Slovenskega primorja. Cilj diplomske naloge je sistematičen prikaz pomena Luke Koper za Slovenijo. Predstavljen je njen razvoj od začetkov pa do danes, način upravljanja ter prednosti, ki jih ima celotno slovensko gospodarstvo od pristanišča. Prav zaradi velikega pomena, ki ga ima pristanišče za Republiko Slovenijo, so opisane največje investicije v infrastrukturo, ki so za pozicioniranje pristanišča na svetovnem trgu nujne. Analizira se vprašanje ali je Republika Slovenija res dober lastnik podjetja Luka Koper, kako z njim gospodari in ali ima, kot dober lastnik, za podjetje dolgoročno strategijo razvoja.

Title:An ownership profile of the Slovenian port
Abstract:Recently, Port of Koper has been a topic which was greatly talked about by various media, government officials and trade unions. At the same time, it is a topic that has been covered in various professional and scientific articles. It is a company with a strong influence on the transport and logistics sector of Slovenia. The Port of Koper is important for a large number of stakeholders, such as other state-owned companies, for example, Slovenske železnice, various importers and exporters, carriers, forwardings, agencies, quality controls and other companies related to port services. Since Luka Koper is the only Slovenian port we can talk about a company of national importance. It is also one of the largest employees in the Slovenian coast. The aim of the diploma thesis is to systematically show the importance of the Port of Koper for Slovenia. It presents the port's development from the beginning to the present, management methods and the benefits of the entire Slovenian economy from the port. Due to the great importance of the port for the Republic of Slovenia, the largest investments in infrastructure, which are necessary for the positioning of the port on the world market, are described. The main question is if the Republic of Slovenia is a good owner of Port of Koper, how it manages it and whether it has a long-term development strategy for the company.
