Abstract:Menedžment projektov je planiranje, organiziranje, vodenje in kontroliranje projektov. Predvsem so specifična proučevanja dejavnikov oziroma faz projekta in njihovo natančno opredeljevanje, z namenom zagotovitve doseganja zadanih smotrov ter ciljev projekta.

Title:Project management of upgrading the Teknoline 3 production line
Abstract:Project management comprises planning, organizing, managing, and controlling projects. One of the most important aspects of project management is studying the specific factors or phases of the project and their precise definition with the aim of ensuring the achievement of the set project goals and objectives. The thesis lays out the theory on project management with an emphasis on the management of a concrete project in a selected company. Presented in the thesis is a case study of the application of theory in practice, which is focused on managing the Teknoline 3 production line upgrade project. In theory, the project is tentatively divided into phases, which facilitates the review and management processes. A project is single, time-limited process with a startpoint and an endpoint. Thus, the phases of the project are presented from the start to the end according to the following phases: initial phase, planning phase, organizing phase, implementation phase, and final phase. The basis for the empirical part of the thesis was a practical training during which theoretical knowledge was put into practice and definitions gained tangible value. Through a practical case, it is easier to understand the theory and thereby achieve the set goals of the thesis – to present project management in general and describe the factors that influenced the course of the project at hand and the achievement of the set goals. The thesis is supported by relevant literature and a practical case that describes the application of theory. For the company, a successfully completed project was important to increase the quantity of chocolate-coated popsicles produced, in turn increasing the profitability of the organization and the possibility for further investment in sustainable development.
