Abstract:Sodobni logistični procesi zahtevajo hitro in zanesljivo izmenjavo podatkov, kar je ključno za učinkovito delovanje podjetij in konkurenčnost na trgu. Predlagana rešitev predvideva avtomatizacijo procesov, uporabo standardiziranih podatkovnih formatov in protokolov ter izboljšanje varnostnih mehanizmov. Pričakovani rezultati implementacije vključujejo povečano učinkovitost, zmanjšanje napak, izboljšano varnost in hitrejše poslovne procese.

Title:Process analysis and suggestion for a solution for the electronic interchange of logistics data between selected supply chain partners in accordance with global standards : Bachelor thesis
Abstract:Modern logistics processes require fast and reliable data interchange, which is crucial for the efficient operation of companies and their competitiveness on the market. The main objective of this thesis is to identify shortcomings of the current data interchange process and propose solutions to eliminate them. The analysis of the current state of the electronic interchange of logistics data between the company Termoplasti – Plama d. o. o. and a selected customer or partner revealed that the existing data interchange systems not sufficiently efficient. Namely, there are issues with compatibility, security, and data accuracy. Based on the findings of the analysis, improvements were proposed. They include the implementation of more modern technologies such as EDI – Electronic Data Interchange and API – Application Programming Interfaces, as well as the introduction of global data interchange standards. Based on the company's current state, we decided to upgrade the existing ERP program Navision. The suggested solution envisages the automation of processes, the use of standardized data formats and protocols, and the improvement of security mechanisms. The expected results of the implementation include increased efficiency, reduced errors, improved security, and faster business processes. This will enable better data interchange between the partners, contributing to a more reliable and efficient supply chain. The thesis concludes with the finding that the implementation of global standards for the electronic data interchange will bring significant benefits to the involved companies. Finally, further research and development in this area are indicated.
